Congressman Allen West Encourages Support For Rebecca Kleefisch

Congressman Allen West (R – Florida), in a video message released today, encouraged people everywhere to support Wisconsin’s Rebecca Kleefisch.

West, a former Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army and an outspoken conservative leader in Congress, said that the outcome of Lieutenant Governor Rebecca Kleefisch’s recall election “would have repercussions across America.”

Recalling his twenty years in the service, Allen West offered his respect for those who fight on the front line. “Wisconsin’s Lieutenant Governor Rebecca Kleefisch has been serving on the front line of a critical fight, since her election along with Governor Scott Walker, in November of 2010.”

West also noted that Walker and Kleefisch had erased a 3.6 billion dollar deficit in Wisconsin without raising taxes, and enacted bold reforms that have saved Wisconsin taxpayers over 1 billion dollars.

“On June the 5th, she is facing a recall election for one reason, and one reason alone,” said Rep. West, “she chose to stand firm and do her job. She didn’t give up, and most importantly, she didn’t give in. Rebecca Kleefisch is exactly the type of leader we need in office.”

West explained that due to Wisconsin’s recall laws, she must run separately from her partner, Governor Scott Walker, and encouraged support for her as she battles the Wisconsin recall effort.
