Wisconsin represents the midpoint of all things American.

It’s the birthplace of the Republican Party. It’s elected members of the Socialist party. Joe McCarthy and Golda Meir have both called it home.

It’s where you will experience a bitterly cold winter day that may never reach 0 degrees Fahrenheit – and a humid summer day you’d experience only in the Deep South. It’s where the sun rises over something Great and sets over something Mighty. Every day.

We believe in things strongly in Wisconsin. It’s what makes us great fans – loyal (our football stadium sold out even when our team was lousy). Proud. Loud.

I’m so proud to be from Wisconsin. We are unique, and yet we’re a microcosm of our great country. Recovery will begin in our state, when our people and businesses are unshackled.
